My journey into clean beauty wasn't a choice – it was a necessity born from pain and purpose. In my mid-twenties, I received my first skin cancer diagnosis. Since then, I've undergone 17 MOHS surgeries for basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, with more areas still needing treatment. Each surgery left its mark, not just on my skin, but on my understanding of what we put on our bodies.

Facing the challenge of multiple skin cancers without insurance or steady income forced me to question everything – especially the products I'd used throughout my life. This led me to a profound realization: the beauty industry I'd worked in and loved needed a cleaner, more conscious approach.

From this realization, Luxe and Ember was born. Each product is thoughtfully crafted with natural ingredients, developed by someone who truly understands skin health concerns.
